Our short-term missions teams will go wherever God is calling us to go and do whatever He needs us to do, in His name. Trip destinations are determined by prayer. We consider how our teams can support our anchor projects, as well as requests from ministry partners around the world and the needs that arise due to current events or natural disasters.
All our trips are evangelistic and seek to share the love of Christ with communities and people in need around the world and right here at home. Some trips are specifically designed for young people, medical professionals and those with building and construction experience.
Short-term missions trip registration is available twice a year in May and September. 15–20 trips are offered to multiple destinations in the U.S. and abroad. You will have six weeks to sign up for a trip before registration is closed.
The cost to go on a short-term missions trip can range from $15 for a 1-day trip to Jackson Heights in NYC to $3000 to travel to Burundi in Africa. We encourage people not to be afraid of the cost but to pray and trust God to supply. And He does!
Everyone is welcome to register for a short-term missions trip. Team size ranges from 2 to 40 people.
If you are part of our online community, streaming our services on a weekly basis, and you would like to sign up for a missions trip, please register and we will work out the details with you.
Leaders are prayerfully chosen to lead a trip, not based on expertise or experience, but on their heart to serve.
Missions training is available for the first-timer as well as those that have gone on multiple trips. Team meetings are an essential part of the short-term missions experience at Times Square Church. Prayer, training and fellowship knits the team together before the team leaves.
If you are not able to go yourself, you can donate towards someone’s trip on our TSC Missions website.
Every short-term missions team posts regular blogs sharing the team’s activities and experience while on the mission field. You are invited to follow the teams on our Missions News Hub blog.
