Santa Elena Orphanage – A new life and hope for abused girls

Thank you again for giving cheerfully even in your own need. We know that your sacrificial giving is not in vain as we continue to see that the funds coming into God’s house are advancing the Kingdom of Heaven and transforming lives.

One of the new partners we have taken on during the pandemic is an orphanage in South America for girls who were victims of sexual abuse in their own homes. When these cases of abuse are discovered, the girls are removed from their homes and brought to this orphanage where they are kept safe and begin the process of healing and restoration. The staff at the orphanage demonstrate genuine love and care and provide therapy and education.

Through your generous giving and prayers, we are directly supporting this orphanage and taking part in the transformation in these girls’ lives by giving funds for two sustainability projects. The first is a chicken coop for more than 600 hens and broilers and the second is the purchase of seeds and renovation of a vegetable garden that will be used for meals at the orphanage and for sale at the community market.

Thank you for helping these precious girls. Although they once experienced abuse and betrayal from those who were supposed to love and protect them, now, through your support, they have a new life knowing that the God who protects them has sent people from all over the world to demonstrate His love for them.
