Love Kitchen

Thanks to your generosity TSC, we are sending a truck of dry goods each month to NYC Love Kitchen, a Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen that serves Washington Heights and Inwood neighborhoods.

For over 30 years, Love Kitchen has sought to serve the elderly, working poor, and homeless people in the Inwood community of Upper Manhattan through a food kitchen and emergency food pantry. As they get to know the individuals, they then see how they can meet other practical and spiritual needs.

We first met the team at Love Kitchen when they came for our Pastor’s Prayer Meeting. Shortly after we started supporting their efforts by continuing to meet with their leaders, providing financial support, and providing food through Feed New York. Now, we would like to further support this team by sending volunteers from our congregation to help serve our neighbors in Inwood.
